TIRUCHI: The Tiruchi Travel Federation in association with Internet Users Club of Tiruchi and Shrimati Indira Gandhi College here, has proposed to conduct ‘Travel Quiz 2009’ at Hotel Sangam here at 1.30 p.m. on December 12.
According to T. H. Radhakrishnan, president of Tiruchi Travel Federation, the proposed quiz will generate interest among the people to understand and appreciate the interdependence of information and communication technology and tourism. He said that registration for the event would begin at 1.30 p.m. on that day at Hotel Sangam and there would be a preliminary round (written test) at 2 p.m. Six teams will be chosen for the finals. The first and second prize winners will get free air tickets.
